Certification of management systems

To increase customer loyalty, to enhance efficiency

Today, certified management systems are regarded as a yardstick of quality in almost all sectors of the economy. For product manufactures, plant construction companies and utility companies in the gas and water industry, protection of the environment and safety at work are increasingly important competitive factors alongside quality in a market which is becoming steadily tighter.

The DVGW CERT GmbH certifies quality management systems to DIN EN ISO 9000 et seq. and DVGW-VP 800 and environmental management systems to DIN EN ISO 14001.

A team of handpicked system and specialist auditors, drawn inter alia from the DVGW testing and research facilities, ensures competent certification based on the requirements in the DVGW Codes of Practice, which also takes account of the industry-specific interfaces between the various kinds of companies.

The DVGW CERT GmbH has been officially recognised for quality management certification since the start of 1996 by the Trägergemeinschaft für Akkreditierung (TGA).

Quality and environmental management systems can be certified in combination, which saves time and money.

Quality management systems

In the relationship between supplier and customer, a certified management system plays an important role. The goal of the quality management system is to optimise the system of processes and procedures within the company in order to enhance efficiency and achieve reproducible quality in products or services. This has been shown to increase customer loyalty.

Environmental management systems

The environmental behaviour of a company is a matter of great public interest. Certification of an environmental management system provides demonstrable commitment to the environment for both customers and associates in the market. The environmental policy of a company can be made transparent by an additional eco-audit
