The quality policy of DVGW CERT GmbH aims at covering all relevant certification procedures in the gas and water industry in order to meet the customers’ needs. This also applies to the accreditation of DVGW CERT GmbH as a Notified Body for all applicable EC Directives and Regulations.
With the customers’ interest in mind, the certification procedures must be designed and carried out efficiently in order to ensure compatibility with other certifiers as well as cost recovery with regard to services rendered.
The quality awareness of the DVGW CERT GmbH staff members focuses on customer orientation, error prevention and optimization. This is the prerequisite for the continuous fulfilment of customers’ requirements according to economic standards.
In general, any kind of advisory activity by staff member of DVGW CERT GmbH and the commissioned DVGW Testing Laboratory, DVGW auditors, experts and testers for a company being certified by DVGW CERT GmbH is impossible.

The supervisory body for our quality policy is the CERT Advisory Committee which in its guiding function ensures the proper execution of all certification procedures with special regard to impartiality.
For this purpose, the committee has determined the complete autonomy of the DVGW CERT GmbH executive board – especially in terms of its professional decision-making authority.
