EU-DWD: Successful assessment by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS)

Transition from the previous UBA recommendations for confi rming the conformity of products with drinking water hygiene requirements to uniform, harmonised European regulations of the EU-DWD – a milestone for DVGW CERT GmbH.

The assessment by DAkkS is much more than a formal step: it confirms not only our technical competence, but also the reliability of our processes.

For DVGW CERT GmbH, this means:

• The expansion from the previous UBA recommendations for the conformity of products to uniform, harmonised European regulations has been implemented without any deviations.
• All accreditation requirements have been mett completely and transparently.

This clears the way for the next step: once the DAkkS internal process has been completed, we expect to receive formal accreditation at the beginning of 2026.
